We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing data team. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a scale-up environment and enjoys solving complex data challenges, and can translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, integrity, and security.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Support advanced analytics and machine learning use cases.
• Experience in data engineering with strong Python skills.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and big data platforms.
• Build reliable, well-monitored data pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Implement modern DevOps practices.
• Flexible remote work options available from Portugal or Croatia.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Strong understanding of core data engineering principles.
• Proven track record of building reliable data pipelines.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Knowledge of data quality and governance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with streaming technologies.
• Ability to work in a scale-up environment.
