Training Device Technician (Maintenance) - Remote

Overview

The Training Device Technician will support the maintenance and operation of AH-64 synthetic training devices, ensuring their functionality for training delivery.

In Short

• Assist with repairs and tests of training devices.
• Install, configure, and upgrade simulators and training components.
• Perform general inspections of training devices.
• Conduct functional tests and troubleshoot systems.
• Work under supervision to isolate faults and repair components.
• Develop and enhance processes for continuous improvement.
• Provide first line support to building and infrastructure systems.
• Shift pattern includes early and late shifts.
• Position requires UK Security Clearance.
• Relocation assistance is not provided.

Requirements

• Experience with electronic/electrical systems and networking.
• Excellent organization and computing skills.
• Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.
• Time served apprenticeship in related fields preferred.
• NVQ level 3 in Electrical/Electronics/Avionics is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with flight simulators and training equipment.
• Knowledge of the Military Air Environment.
