Mid-level P-8A General Repair Equipment Technician - Remote

Overview

The Mid-level P-8A General Repair Equipment Technician will support the USN P-8 program, primarily working onsite in Jacksonville, FL, with an international assignment to Manama, Bahrain.

In Short

• Assist the Lead Technician in daily tasks.
• Maintain systems by repairing or upgrading components.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faulty components.
• Conduct routine functional tests on equipment.
• Perform visual inspections as required.
• Document maintenance and inspection actions.
• Create and maintain maintenance and inventory tracking systems.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Expected to work onsite 100% of the time.
• Must have an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in aircraft Ground Support Equipment maintenance.
• Ability to support a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• General automotive servicing experience.
• Must be able to obtain a work visa for international assignment.
• High School diploma or equivalent with related work experience.
• Must meet cultural requirements of the assignment country.
• Ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities.
• Must be able to travel on short notice, up to 50% of the time.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
