Application Security Architect & Developer - Remote

Overview

As an Application Security Architect & Developer for BlueRock Security, you will be responsible for understanding common app runtime environments and developing innovative security mechanisms to protect applications proactively.

In Short

• Understand common app runtime environments (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) and threats against them
• Develop security protection mechanisms for user space and Linux kernel
• Design and build prototypes and production code for vulnerability detection
• Develop for Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 7+ years of experience in application security development
• Strong programming knowledge in Python, Java, Go, Rust, and C/C++
• Experience with modern backend frameworks like Django and Spring
• Knowledge of Agile development and CI/CD practices
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Bonus: Experience with micro-services and AI/ML

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in application security
• Strong technical understanding of app runtimes and threats
• Programming knowledge in Python, Java, Go, Rust, C/C++
• Experience with backend frameworks and Linux
• Knowledge of Agile and CI/CD
