Pharmacist - Remote

Overview

The Pharmacist will direct and manage the dispensing of cannabis products to the patients of our Saint Paul dispensary.

In Short

• Must be in-store at all times during their scheduled shift to allow for dispensation of cannabis products.
• Assess patient certification to monitor for restrictions and help patients determine the best course of treatment.
• Ensure compliance with all Bloom Wellness policies and procedures and federal and state laws.
• Communicate restrictions with the dispensary team regarding product selection/quantity.
• Provide timely and accurate medication information to patients over the phone and in-person.
• Educate patients about the properties and benefits of cannabis.
• Consult patients and assess certification to recommend the best course of treatment.
• Stay up to date on current research related to cannabis.
• Develop a deep understanding of cannabis forms, dosing, drug interactions, and side effects.
• Assist with additional dispensary tasks as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements

• Pharmacy degree and appropriate licensure.
• Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects.
• Strong communication skills for patient education.
• Ability to assess and recommend treatment options.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
