Overview

The Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is seeking a passionate academic legal researcher to lead independent research and analysis in the intersection of blockchain technology and climate change.

In Short

• Supervise Legal Research Officers in providing research support.
• Provide technical and strategic leadership for analytical research.
• Generate opportunities for strategic research partnerships.
• Contribute as a member of the Executive Committee.
• Manage the Research Division’s time budget effectively.
• Attend conferences to promote BCI and communicate research findings.
• Engage with key stakeholders in the climate policy space.
• Conduct independent legal research and publish findings.
• Support members of fellowship councils.
• Produce briefing material for speeches and presentations.

Requirements

• Strong background in legal research.
• Experience in blockchain technology and climate policy.
• Ability to engage with government ministers and UN agencies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Methodological approach to research.
• Leadership experience in a research environment.
