Head of Communications (Volunteer) - Remote

Overview

This is an unpaid volunteering role for the Head of Communications at the Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI), an international volunteer-led think tank focused on blockchain technology and climate change.

In Short

• Lead the Communications Branch under the External Affairs Bureau.
• Build and maintain relationships with key public affairs audiences.
• Engage with senior policymakers and climate negotiators.
• Oversee a team of volunteers in external affairs and public policy.
• Develop and implement the BCI’s communications strategy.
• Manage media relations and communications functions.
• Identify suitable conferences and events for BCI participation.
• Raise the profile of BCI within the climate change policy community.
• Support the Director-General and senior leadership team.
• Act as the key contact for media inquiries.
