CTO Associate - AI Startup - Remote

Overview

We are launching a new AI-driven project, backed by an initial round of funding, and are looking for a CTO Associate to lead the technical vision and development from the ground up.

• Define & Execute the Tech Vision: Architect, build, and scale a robust AI-powered platform.
• Fullstack Development Leadership: Lead hands-on development across the stack (React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS).
• AI & Automation: Leverage the latest AI models and automation tools to optimize workflows.
• Product & Business Alignment: Work closely with the founding team to translate business goals into scalable technology.
• Recruit & Lead the Engineering Team: Build and mentor a world-class engineering team.
• Scalability & Security: Implement best practices for infrastructure and data security.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of tech trends and introduce innovative solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years in software development, with experience leading projects or teams.
• Strong skills in fullstack development with React, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML models, NLP, data pipelines, or automation tools is a plus.
• Passion for building from scratch and thriving in ambiguity.
• Ability to build and inspire a technical team while aligning with business strategy.
• Ownership mentality and readiness to be a co-founder.
