Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will build and operate the data infrastructure that powers BJAK’s analytics, product insights, and downstream systems, ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and production-ready at scale.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines for core business and product data.
• Ingest data from diverse sources ensuring high data quality and reliability.
• Design and manage data models and storage layers that support analytics.
• Partner with teams to deliver clean, well-documented datasets for analytics.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for pipeline reliability and performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript, with solid SQL proficiency.
• Good understanding of data modeling and analytics workflows.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Experience building and operating production data pipelines.
