Head of Product Engineering - Remote

Overview

As the Head of Product Engineering, you will build and manage a team of Full Stack Web Engineers working on the BitMEX.com website, APIs, and mobile applications. You will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, Affiliates and technical teams to collaboratively define and execute BitMEX’s retail strategy, offering a seamless and engaging user experience across all customer touchpoints - perpetuating BitMEX’s reputation as pioneers and disruptors in the finance industry.

In Short

• Manage a team of 15-20 full-stack engineers & designers.
• Collaborate with Sales stakeholders and Product Managers.
• Lead technical and architectural initiatives.
• Prototype, implement, peer review, and ship products.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in Computer Science.
• Experience managing a team of software engineers and designers.
• Proven expertise with NodeJS and React.
• Experience in product management and development.
• Familiarity with coding practices and design patterns.
• Experience in Financial Services and real-time trading UIs.
