• Serve as the SME for geolocation-based sanctions controls and jurisdictional risk.
• Design and implement IP-based controls to prevent interactions with sanctioned jurisdictions.
• Integrate IP geolocation tools and blockchain analytics platforms.
• Analyze user activity logs for mismatches in declared residency and actual location.
• Develop risk-based rules for account review and POA collection.
• Contribute during regulatory exams and internal audits.
• Maintain knowledge of global sanctions frameworks and geopolitical impacts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements.
• Refine screening parameters to boost system effectiveness.
• Deliver training on IP risk and sanctions evasion techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years in sanctions compliance or financial crime risk.
• Understanding of global sanctions and financial crime regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with VPN, proxy, or Tor traffic detection tools.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience delivering presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
