Overview

biBerk is building a cloud-first, API driven, dynamic insurance platform that enables customers to purchase insurance policies directly online. Expanding our team, we are adding experienced software innovators to enhance our development efforts.

In Short

• Contribute as a senior technical resource on a cross functional, agile development team.
• Implement system features to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with Product team to ensure that requirements are understood.
• Create technical documentation and content.
• Deliver regular and frequent code contributions aligned with User Stories.
• Ensure compliance with system performance goals.
• Take ownership of problems and solutions.
• Occasional travel to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton PA for strategy meetings.
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a software developer.
• Experience with cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience using C#.
• Experience designing and delivering RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with SQL DBs and Document DBs.
• Experience with TypeScript and SPA frameworks.
• Commercial Property and Casualty insurance experience preferred.
• Practical working knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core.
