In Short

• Completing the final underwriting review of Conforming loans.
• Analyzing collateral documents to assess their influence on underwriting decisions.
• Reviewing the Automated Underwriting System to address any red flags.
• Calculating ratios during final approval.
• Meeting production goals while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Uncovering undisclosed debt or potential fraud.
• Collaborating with loan teams and other cross-functional teams.
• Maintaining acceptable quality control standards.
• Reviewing tasks related to credit, income, and assets before final approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in US Mortgage.
• Knowledge of Agency guidelines for decision making.
• Understanding of Credit and Collateral documents.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong data analysis capability.
• Knowledge of FNMA and Freddie Mac Guidelines.
• Detailed understanding of credit report, income, assets, and collateral documents.
