Intermediate Platform Development Engineer - Remote

Overview

As an intermediate platform development engineer within our site reliability engineering team, you will drive the design, development, and optimization of our monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.

In Short

• Design and develop self-service capabilities for reliability platforms
• Create monitoring features to proactively detect and address production issues
• Deploy and maintain reliability platforms using infrastructure as code
• Propose and implement platform improvements based on best practices
• Collaborate with various teams to align efforts with business objectives
• Participate in SLA/post-incident reviews to minimize downtime
• Conduct capacity planning and resource optimization
• Maintain documentation of platform architecture
• 2-4 years working as a developer focusing on scripting languages
• Experience with cloud computing providers

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience using IaC and configuration management tools
• 2+ years using monitoring and visualization platforms
• 2+ years utilizing logging and alerting platforms
• Experience handling deployment of containerized applications
• Experience working on Linux operating system
