Software Test Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Own and drive testing efforts across our web applications, including test planning, execution, and reporting
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
• Perform comprehensive API testing and validate integrations using Postman and related tools
• Create and manage test cases using TestRails or similar platforms
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and support teams to identify risks and ensure high-quality releases
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and help build reliable deployment processes
• Track bugs and manage testing workflows in ClickUp
• Conduct visual and functional testing across multiple browsers/devices using BrowserStack
• Write clear, Gherkin-style test cases for consistency and clarity
• Utilize observability tools like DataDog to validate metrics and logs during testing
• Participate in release planning and understand full deployment cycles
• Mentor junior team members and help define long-term QA strategies and best practices
• Review UI/UX flows in Figma or Zeplin to ensure pixel-perfect execution

Requirements

• Experience in QA automation and testing methodologies
• Proficiency in Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools
• Strong API testing skills with tools like Postman
• Familiarity with test case management tools like TestRails
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
• Ability to track bugs and manage workflows in ClickUp
• Experience with BrowserStack for cross-browser testing
• Knowledge of observability tools like DataDog
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience mentoring junior team members
