Staff Machine Learning & Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Staff Machine Learning & Infrastructure Engineer to join the Base Ads team to enable and accelerate the success of Spindl and its soon-to-be launched protocol Flywheel. You’ll be the first MLE on the team, responsible for building out our ranking system from the ground up.

• Knowledge of Apache Airflow, Spark, Flink, Kafka/Kinesis, Snowflake, Hadoop, Hive is a plus.
• Experience with Python and data analysis.

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience as a machine learning and software engineer.
• Experience building & deploying backend systems at scale.
• Curiosity for crypto ecosystem and onchain data.
• Strong understanding of machine learning methodologies.
• Ability to work with diverse data sources.
• Experience with model interpretability and responsible AI.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team-oriented mindset.
