PFS EDI Associate - Remote

Overview

The PFS EDI Associate oversees the daily automated billing and posting job streams, identifies and corrects errors, and ensures accurate transaction posting and reconciliation.

• Oversees daily automated billing and posting job streams.

• Monitors translation and transmission of electronic billing claims.
• Researches and evaluates third-party claims edits.
• Posts daily, weekly, and monthly payment transactions.
• Maintains low balance in claims billing systems.
• May provide training and feedback to staff.
• Works independently under general supervision.
• Interacts with IT staff for technical solutions.
• Processes an average of $18,000,000 per day.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four or more years of experience in financial services or patient account management.
• Expert analytical skills required.
• Ability to test and implement new application programs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and confidentiality laws.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to gather and analyze data from automated systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to plan and organize large data sets.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT.
