Procurement Analyst - Remote

Overview

Balsam International is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Analyst to support our Inventory Planning and Procurement initiatives. This role reports directly to the Procurement Supervisor and takes ownership of day-to-day procurement operations, including purchasing, managing vendor relationships, tracking orders and data, handling contracts and payments, and generating reports to support cross-functional teams.

In Short

• Ensures timely and accurate placement of purchase orders.
• Negotiates PO terms with vendors to reach acceptable agreements.
• Monitors vendors’ compliance with agreed ship dates.
• Tracks all orders and shipments to ensure correct and on-time delivery of goods.
• Creates, manages, and audits large data sets in support of various Planning and Procurement functions.
• Develops effective communication strategy and maintains good business relations with vendors.
• Submits PO, commission, and/or sample payments that are due for approval.
• Develops reports and presentations in a clear and actionable manner.
• Must attend occasional in-person meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or other related course with quantitative background.
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in procurement involving purchase orders.
• Adept in collaborating with other teams on cross-functional projects.
