Freelance Online German Teacher - Remote

Overview

We are looking for Online Teachers (German) (Freelancer) who want to pioneer a new product offering for immigrants who are looking to integrate into Germany. This new blended learning German language course will focus on two separate components: 1. An intensive German course (A1-B1) and 2. An integration component.

In Short

• Teach the Intensive German Course (A1-B1 level)
• Engage in introductory calls with prospective learners to provide guidance on the program and encourage them to join a course. Successful conversions will be incentivised.
• Support with curriculum feedback and provide guidance on in-class activities.
• Provide between 10-20h of availability per week for at least 3 months, with a potential to increase once we scale.

Requirements

• German & English language skills (native proficiency)
• Previous online teaching experience teaching large groups of students
• Knowledge of the CEFR framework
• Familiarity with the Babbel app
• Experience in the field of language learning and familiarity with the digital self-study market
• A tax number for freelance work (not necessarily issued by the German authorities)
