Virtual Physician - Remote (MD/DO) 1099

Overview

As a Virtual Physician at Baba, you will conduct structured telehealth visits to establish medical necessity for care navigation programs aimed at supporting older adults.

In Short

• Conduct telehealth-based E/M or Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs).
• Document findings accurately in the platform.
• Validate and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with care advocates and nurse care managers.
• Must have an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• Broad multistate licensure preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in primary care or telehealth.
• Familiarity with Medicare programs and SDOH documentation.
• Proficient with EMRs and telehealth workflows.
• Remote, flexible contractor position.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with active U.S. medical license.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred.
• Experience in primary care or telehealth.
• Familiarity with Medicare and care management.
• Proficiency with EMRs and telehealth platforms.
