A&E Fiber Designer - Remote

Overview

B+T Group is seeking an experienced A&E Fiber Designer for the Tulsa, Oklahoma (corporate office). If candidate not located in Tulsa area, then position can be fully remote. This position is responsible for producing and updating detailed design drawings for fiber optic, small cell, and wireless network projects using AutoCAD.

In Short

• Produce and update detailed design drawings for fiber optic and wireless network projects.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Project Control Managers and Engineers.
• Translate field data into accurate, build-ready plans.
• Develop templates to streamline workflows.
• Perform quality control on design work.
• Generate construction drawings and fiber routing plans.
• Interpret GIS data and utility records.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical support to CAD Technicians and Designers.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD and telecom design principles.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Competent in MS Office.
• 2 Years of Drafting Experience required.
• GIS experience preferred.
• Small Cell/Fiber experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience a plus.
