Axios is a growth-stage company dedicated to providing trustworthy, award-winning news content in an audience-first format. We're hiring a mid-level Brand Designer to focus on our Events and Growth initiatives.

In Short

• Design a variety of assets (both digital and in print) ensuring brand consistency.
• Ideate and refine new brands and visual identity systems.
• Collaborate with team members and provide feedback to junior designers.
• Self-manage projects and communicate with stakeholders.
• Update landing pages using Webflow.
• Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Present work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• 3+ years of design experience required.
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand design work.
• Proficient in design software like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of design principles including typography and layout.
• Experience in print, web, and live graphics design.
• Ability to execute creative direction and present ideas effectively.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and self-managing projects.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
