Legal Consultant - Data Privacy - Remote

Overview

We are currently seeking a Legal Consultant - Data Privacy to work with our F100 clients.

In Short

• Substantive data protection and data privacy experience, particularly with in depth knowledge of PDPO and / or GDPR.
• Experience standardizing policies, protocols, and training programs.
• Providing legal advice regarding privacy, privacy impact assessments, data-sharing, and related issues.
• Exposure to China privacy matters and laws would be a benefit.
• Working side by side with the legal and business teams of our F100 clients.
• Maintaining and updating documentation with most recent regulatory requirements.
• Working with and advising business clients directly.
• Providing guidance and practical solutions for various corporate policies.
• Access to professional development resources and learning programs.
• Work both remotely or on site with clients.

Requirements

• Substantive data protection and data privacy experience.
• Experience with GDPR and PDPO.
• Ability to standardize policies and protocols.
• Experience providing legal advice on privacy compliance.
• Ability to maintain and update documentation.
• Experience working with business clients.
• Knowledge of China privacy laws is a plus.
