APAC Trade Compliance Counsel - Remote

Overview

We are currently seeking a mid-to-senior level secondee to provide expert counsel on APAC trade matters, particularly around licensing and import/export policy requirements for hardware tech products. This full-time, contract role requires a robust understanding of trade compliance, licensing requirements, and supply chain management. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated success in coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders in a multinational environment and experience in, or a deep understanding of, the tech sector.

• Provide legal counsel and advice on licensing and policy requirements for the movement of physical hardware.

Requirements

• 6-10+ years of experience in APAC trade compliance and controls.
• Strong understanding of licensing and policy requirements for hardware movement.
• Excellent ability to review, draft, and manage complex legal documents.
• Proven track record in liaising with customs and regulatory bodies.
• Exceptional communication and coordination skills.
