The Senior Developer will be involved in the design, development, integration, and migration of applications related to timetabling and billing solutions in the transport and logistics domain, primarily working in an Agile environment.

In Short

Design and develop software solutions using Java and related frameworks.
Maintain web user interfaces with JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, and HTML5.
Participate in software planning, design, implementation, debugging, and testing.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and developers.
Adhere to quality standards and best practices.
Document work using Confluence and GitLab.
Participate in code reviews and provide regular updates.
Work primarily remote with occasional on-site activities in Frankfurt.
Minimum 5 years of experience in software design and development.
Proficiency in modern cloud-native architecture.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software design and development using Java.
Experience in agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe).
Knowledge of transport and logistics applications.
Proficiency in web development technologies.
Experience with JBoss for at least 5 years.
Strong debugging and testing skills.
Proficiency in GitLab and Confluence.
German (minimum B2) and English language skills.
Collaborative and problem-solving skills.
Experience in multi-team environments.
