Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

This is a fully remote role. Atlanta or Charlotte area preferred.

In Short

• Develop financial models to evaluate business performance and new product/market opportunities.
• Manage and iterate models for financial forecasts.
• Utilize scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for strategic decisions.
• Prepare financial reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Provide actionable insights on P&L and KPIs.
• Act as a business partner to cross-functional teams.
• Identify financial risks and assist in mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.
• Proactively seek new methodologies to improve financial analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of financial analysis or related experience.
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong background in financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and Excel/Sheets.
• Proficiency with SQL and Business Intelligence tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of profitability drivers.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings.
