Supply Chain Buyer/Planner - Remote

Overview

As a Supply Chain Buyer/Planner at Avery Dennison, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain process, working closely with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and plan the timely delivery of products.

In Short

• Lead sales and operations (S&OP) process to forecast demand and plan supply.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Drive down slow moving and obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal customers for on-time delivery.
• Manage vendors including suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Analyze key performance indicators for improvement.
• Prepare and lead weekly meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct costing analysis of products and freight.
• Maintain supply chain documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and ELS standards.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years experience in a Supply Chain environment.
• Cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience in creating and managing demand forecasts.
• Multinational experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of international and local freight.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business Management.
• PPIM/CPIM certification is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MFG Pro.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
