Team Lead Accounting and Finance - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead Accounting & Finance who will be responsible for financial processes and reporting for Leasingmarkt.de and AutoScout24 AT. You will also take on an active controlling role within the finance organization of the region DEAT at AutoScout24 to ensure efficient financial management.

In Short

• Lead a team of 2-3 accountants
• Oversee accounting and preparation of annual and monthly financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
• Ensure timely monthly and annual closings
• Coordinate and optimize financial processes with internal and external stakeholders
• Responsible for accurate management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Develop and digitalize/automate accounting processes
• Prepare, collaborate, and analyze financial reports and forecasts
• Develop and optimize KPIs for financial management
• Build and monitor internal controls and processes

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting or certified accountant with further training in financial management
• Several years of experience in accounting and/or controlling, experience in a leadership role is a plus
• Proficient in HGB and IFRS and knowledgeable about tax regulations
• Experience with ERP systems and common reporting tools
• Excellent analytical skills and affinity for numbers
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
• Fluent in German and solid English skills
