Overview

The Credit Controller at Prysmian plays a vital role in managing credit-related responsibilities and general administrative duties that drive productivity and success within the Accounts team.

In Short

• Review and open new credit account applications.
• Collect and reconcile overdue accounts via telephone and email.
• Respond to information requests from internal and external customers.
• Liaise with stakeholders and managers regarding outstanding accounts.
• Work within a team of 3 in Credit Control.
• Utilize skills in Excel and SAP accounting software.
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
• Maintain a focus on customer service.
• Plan and prioritize work autonomously.
• Build effective relationships within the business and with customers.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and credit control principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Experience in a large multinational organization is desirable.
• Cert IV in accounting is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• A friendly and team-oriented attitude.
