Underwriting Operations Specialist - Remote

Overview

Attune is changing small business insurance by utilizing data and technology to streamline the underwriting process and improve the user experience for brokers and agents.

In Short

• Review and assess insurance policy applications.
• Optimize the underwriting process for efficiency.
• Select the best risks for carrier partners.
• Build strong relationships with brokers and agents.
• Stay updated with insurance industry regulations.
• Provide administrative support to underwriters.
• Assist in risk evaluation and assessment.
• Provide training to junior team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Handle escalations within assigned underwriting authority.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of Property and Casualty experience.
• Experience with commercial lines insurance products.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in risk selection.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• AU, AINS, or equivalent designation is a plus.
