In Short

• Make high-quality, data-driven and experience-driven decisions on building the production platform.
• Own and build how we test, build, and deploy code in a high-scale PaaS environment.
• Collaborate across the company on designing production systems and technology choices.
• Deliver results in a predictable, safe, and reliable way.
• Work on a small but growing team on building out the Platform/Reliability practice.
• Be directly involved in decision-making on work priorities and processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive internal documentation for systems and processes.
• Participate in incident management and determine sensible practices as the platform evolves.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Non-Abstract Systems design and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Golang, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with observability principles and technologies.
• Strong communication skills with experience in a globally distributed team.
• A passion for reliability and operational excellence.
• Ability to estimate work scope and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Experience with software development best practices.
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

• Estimated salary ranges from $180,000 - $210,000 based on leveling and geography.
