Assystem is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Lyon, focusing on solutions for climate change through low-carbon energy production and distribution.

• Join a team of 8 in the mechanical engineering department.
• Implement analysis methodologies based on safety classifications.
• Create and manage finite element models.
• Conduct mechanical calculations under various loading conditions.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in energy, naval, or complex mechanical systems.
• Experience in structural calculations is required.
• Proficiency in calculation software (Ansys preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and technical curiosity.
• Good English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work collaboratively with experts.
• Dynamic, rigorous, and autonomous work ethic.
• Experience in vibration calculations or fluid calculations is a plus.
• Willingness to undergo a government security investigation.
