Senior Mechanical Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding team and contribute to the design and management of mechanical projects in the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries.

In Short

• Remote position with a preference for East Coast candidates.
• Manage and quality review of deliverables and project execution.
• Process, piping/plumbing and mechanical designs.
• Assess project requirements and work with Project Managers.
• Write scope of work for mechanical or utility design.
• Prepare engineering studies and schematic designs.
• 8+ years of design engineering experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in food and beverage or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Revit.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in engineering consulting in the food and beverage manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
• 8+ years of design engineering experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC system design and experience with central utilities.
• Design of material handling and dust collection systems an asset.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical codes and standards.
• Familiarity with ISPE and HACCP requirements.
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Revit.
