Senior Mechanical Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join one of our clients in the machinery industry. This position is remote, giving you the opportunity to work from anywhere in the Houston TX metropolitan and surrounding areas with travel to client's and customer's site as needed.

In Short

• Design and develop machinery and mechanical equipment for the client’s needs.
• Analyze, evaluate, and improve existing machinery or equipment for optimized performance.
• Create detailed drawings and blueprints that will be used for production.
• Develop and test prototypes to ensure that the machinery and equipment meet the necessary quality and safety standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and goals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and research in the field of machinery.
• Provide timely and effective solutions to mechanical design and development problems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles.
• Experience with CAD software for creating designs.
