Overview

The Senior PHP Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of server-side PHP scripts and programs, while also leading the development environment and maintaining legacy applications.

In Short

Design, develop, and deploy server-side PHP scripts.
Document code, concepts, and business logic.
Work in a team to develop new features and interfaces.
Assist with QA testing of new code.
Serve as an agile Scrum master if needed.
Support and modify existing legacy applications.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technology-related discipline.
6+ years of experience in a professional LAMP development environment.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and modern web frameworks.
Experience in Agile methodologies and SCRUM.
Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS experience.
Ability in Object Oriented Programming and Design.
Ability to write unit tests in PHP Unit.
Understanding of UML based design tools.
Knowledge of containers and Docker is a plus.
Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.
