Overview

Assala Energy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our global IT team. This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our IT infrastructure across multiple international locations.

In Short

• 12-month fixed-term staff contract with potential for permanent role.
• Located in Hammersmith, London with 1 day remote work per week.
• Design and maintain the company's global IT infrastructure.
• Manage hybrid cloud environment focusing on Microsoft Azure and Entra ID.
• Ensure infrastructure security and manage vulnerability actions.
• Maintain Windows and Linux server estate and core Microsoft services.
• Administer System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment.
• Provide 3rd line support for complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with international teams for seamless IT service delivery.
• Act as a mentor for junior engineers and promote best practices.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in Microsoft, VMware, and Cloud technologies.
• Experience in managing hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with security controls and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of IT service management (ITIL) practices.
• Ability to plan and execute infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members.
• Familiarity with GDPR and regional IT regulations.
• Proven experience in leading infrastructure management initiatives.
