Asplundh Engineering Services (AES) is looking for Substation Physical Designer/ Engineer to join our team for a remote opportunity. Ideal candidates will have an Electrical or Mechanical degree and experience working in the utility space in physical substation or high-voltage design.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of substation physical design experience.
• Experience with grounding studies and lighting studies.
• Knowledge of IEEE/ANSI standards in substation design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Technical competency in WinIGS, CDEGS, AutoCAD, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits or training.
