DevOps Engineer II - Remote

Overview

The DevOps Engineer II will play a crucial role in supporting the modernization journey of a client dedicated to serving military and Veterans, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining automated build and release structures and deployment pipelines.

In Short

• Long term contract position for 2+ years.
• 100% remote work within the continental US.
• Setup and maintain build infrastructure.
• Create and manage build and deployment scripts.
• Collaborate with IT teams for release coordination.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
• Administration of Azure DevOps Servers.
• Develop and document build and release processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production issues.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and scripting.

Requirements

• BS/MS in CS/engineering or equivalent, or 5+ years of experience.
• 3+ years with monitoring tools, preferably Dynatrace and/or ELK.
• Experience with data pipelines using filebeat, Logstash, etc.
• Expertise in Dynatrace or Elastic best practices.
• Proficient in scripting with Python and PowerShell.
• Experience in Terraform and Ansible.
• Good knowledge of Linux OS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
