Senior Finance Analyst - Remote

Overview

The finance analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation, and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will process and reconcile accounts and general ledger related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

• Assignment: Night Shift
• Support Finance and Accounting activities with financial impacts.
• Collaborate with Business Unit and operational executives.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions.
• Reconcile financial results periodically for accuracy.
• Perform financial analysis and generate key reports.
• Assist in preparation of annual Statutory reports.
• Provide support for internal and external auditors.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with reporting packages and financial systems.
• Solid understanding of month-end close processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
• Insurance experience is desired but not mandatory.
