QA Engineer III (Data-Actuarial) - Remote

Overview

The QA Engineer executes manual and automated testing by writing scripts and creating automation scenarios for repeated execution. Using different automation tools, the QA Engineer will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.

In Short

• Works with Agile Program Manager, Digital Product Manager, and Business Systems Analyst to document and plan test cases.
• Writes test automation scripts in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#.
• Troubleshoots existing automation and optimizes the automation framework.
• Supports functional validation and sprint activities.
• Communicates with development teams to ensure proper test coverage.
• Builds upon an existing framework to develop and execute automated test plans.
• Continuous improvement of automation framework and workflow processes.
• Leads scrum test teams and encourages collaboration.
• Guides and mentors junior team members on automation trends.

Requirements

• Good understanding of OOP concepts.
• Hands-on automation and manual testing framework experience.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in automation tools like Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Experience in developing test scripts for BDD using Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience with all levels of testing.
• Good knowledge of build management tools.
• Experience with Xray for test management in JIRA.
• Experience with cloud repositories like Bitbucket.
• Experience in working with Agile teams.
