Intelligent Document Processing Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

As a key member of the Strategic Analytics team, you will support the solution definition, build and implementation of IDP/AI opportunities across operations, claims, finance, and underwriting teams.

In Short

• Deliver automated document extraction and data enrichment solutions.
• Manipulate data using Python or SQL; develop ad hoc queries to investigate data anomalies.
• Manually label and validate small training data sets.
• Develop round-trip data flows for IDP.
• Collaborate to build predictive models using Python.
• Use AI technologies to extract business data from unstructured sources.
• Create technical documentation for end-to-end processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data science.
• 1+ years of experience with NLP, GenAI, OCR.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Strong experience in manipulating datasets.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• Experience with cloud technologies is a plus.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
