Data Engineer Level III - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst / Data Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering key analytical insights, building dashboards and automating reports to serve all layers of the Claims organization. This high visibility role has direct exposure to senior leaders across Arch Insurance.

In Short

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for building Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work with various data sources to provide insights into business performance.
• Compile information into presentations for senior leaders.
• Identify and analyze KPIs across various PBI’s.
• Support Data Governance initiatives and assist in the build of Claims Data & Analytics data library.
• Adhere to best practices, naming conventions and version control.
• Deliver innovative solutions in collaboration with IT and other departments.
• Proficient in Snowflake and SQL database environments.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional analytical skills to understand key drivers of the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Proficient with Snowflake and MSSQL.
• Experience in Power BI development.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Background in P&C insurance is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and in a team setting.
