Solid Waste Engineering Consultant - Remote

Overview

Arcadis is looking for a Solid Waste Engineering Consultant with specialized Solid Waste Management Consulting Engineering experience to join our Resilience Team in either Hanover, Maryland or Arlington or Richmond, Virginia. We offer a flexible hybrid work culture with balance between remote and in-office work.

In Short

• Provide technical expertise and leadership to a team of engineers.
• Lead tasks/projects simultaneously in the solid waste industry.
• Utilize specialized expertise in solid waste management systems.
• Manage internal project budgets and schedules.
• Support development of solid waste management opportunities.
• Provide quality assurance management for project delivery.
• Mentor junior staff members.
• Supervise and review work of project technical leads.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Some travel may be required for project site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 7 years of solid waste management consulting engineering experience.
• 10+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience in project delivery and capital project planning.
• PE License is a plus.
