Arcadis is a leading global planning and consulting company focused on improving the quality of life. We are looking for a Project Engineer in Electrical Engineering for railway overhead lines at our locations in Berlin, Darmstadt, or Hannover.

In Short

• Lead planning services in the field of overhead lines.
• Coordinate with internal specialists to ensure high-quality planning.
• Create specific documents for public approval processes.
• Prepare cost estimates and calculations using Excel and iTWO.
• Work in partially international project teams.
• Ensure timely and quality execution of projects.
• Understand railway projects and necessary parallel trades.
• Knowledge of German Railway processes and contracts is beneficial.
• Experience in static calculations is a plus.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualifications.
• Several years of experience in planning electrical railways.
• Familiarity with DB AG guidelines for overhead line planning.
• Strong team player with good English skills.
• Ability to structure projects effectively.
• Comprehensive understanding of railway projects.
• Knowledge of German Railway processes and contracts.
• Experience in static calculations is advantageous.
