Principal Air Quality Professional - Remote

Overview

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Air Quality Engineer to join our Sustainable Operations team, in a Texas office such as Austin, Dallas, or Houston. This job can also be performed remotely from a location that is within driving distance to any Arcadis US office.

In Short

• Lead Gulf Coast based air quality projects.
• Support sales and marketing efforts by meeting with clients and writing proposals.
• Perform air permitting and compliance support.
• Manage project teams to deliver high quality project deliverables.
• Collaborate with the air quality team and mentor junior staff.
• Conduct environmental compliance audits.
• Travel up to 10-25% for project needs.
• Work with diverse market sectors including chemical and oil & gas.
• Contribute to a dynamic team and gain experience in various environmental projects.
• Drive innovation within the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) space.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in air quality engineering.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• PE registration in Texas and/or Louisiana preferred.
• Experience with Gulf Coast air quality regulations.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to mentor junior staff.
• Excellent communication and client relations skills.
• Knowledge of emissions inventory development and reporting.
• Experience in sustainability reporting.
• Willingness to travel for project needs.
