Accessibility Product Consultant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Accessibility Product Consultant to ensure our digital products meet and exceed accessibility standards. This role will work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to integrate accessibility into every stage of the product lifecycle.

In Short

• Review product requirements and design specifications for accessibility considerations.
• Collaborate with QA teams to define and validate accessibility test cases.
• Document and prioritize accessibility requirements in project planning.
• Work with Design and UX teams on inclusive design principles.
• Serve as the primary contact for accessibility-related questions.
• Perform audits of existing products for accessibility compliance.
• Stay current with accessibility standards and tools.
• Support development of internal accessibility training and documentation.
• Create programming and best practice guides for accessibility.
• Test accessibility scope using tools and manual testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years in Product Management or QA, with focus on digital accessibility.
• Experience in a digital agency or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and ADA standards.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies.
• Experience writing product requirements with accessibility in mind.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques.
• Ability to balance business priorities with user needs.
• Certification in accessibility is a plus.
• Ability to work hours aligned to Pacific Time.
