Cloud Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Cloud Platform Engineer at Apheris, you will design, implement, and operate the cloud infrastructure that powers both our internal engineering workflows and customer deployments. You will ensure our systems are reliable, maintainable, and easy for engineers and customers to operate.

In Short

• Work with engineering teams to refine IaC setups, CI/CD systems, and GitOps systems.
• Improve and automate customer deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with clients’ cloud or infrastructure engineers.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform).
• Clear communication skills in English.
• Enjoy solving challenging technical problems.
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud providers.
• Experience with automation tools like Helm or Terraform.
• Clear communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate with external stakeholders.
• Motivated by solving technical problems.
• Experience with HPC or scientific computing is a plus.
• Experience in regulated industries is advantageous.
• Experience with on-premise Kubernetes deployments is a plus.
