Animator (Mid-Senior Level) - Remote

Overview

Age of Learning is seeking an Animator for its Digital Consumer Products Team, creators of the company’s flagship product, ABCmouse. The ideal candidate is an even-keel, hands-on Animator with a mastery of interactive and games animation fundamentals.

In Short

• Craft engaging VFX, UI, and environmental animations.
• Work within Rive, Maya, and potentially Unity.
• Mentor and develop other animators.
• Maintain an efficient animation pipeline.
• Communicate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Refine the polish of existing products.
• Produce work under pressure while maintaining quality.
• Strong reel showcasing innovative web/mobile animations.
• 5+ years of animation experience.
• Excellent “game feel” understanding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Animation or relevant experience.
• Expert-level animating 2D effects in Rive, After Effects, or Unity.
• Working knowledge of 3D animation in Maya.
• Ability to animate using best practices in a collaborative environment.
• Eye for detail and excellent written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and team player.
• Portfolio or demo reel required.
