Senior Financial Accountant / Balance Sheet Accountant (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

We are currently in a phase of expansion and are building our AOE Group Finance Team. This is your chance to actively shape the financial direction of our company and to revolutionize our financial processes. Your daily work? Self-determined and dynamic, always in exchange with our CFO, the management, and the controlling team.

In Short

• You will handle accounts payable and receivable accounting.
• You will take care of asset accounting as well as balance sheet accounting.
• You will create and verify invoices, enter invoices into the IT system (currently DATEV Unternehmen online), conduct payment transactions, and post incoming and outgoing invoices.
• You will form accruals and provisions.
• You will check and settle travel expenses.
• You will manage intercompany transactions/reconciliations and participate in monthly controlling.
• You will handle reports to the tax office: USt-VA, ZM report, Z4 report and communicate with and be the contact person for the tax advisor.

Requirements

• Commercial training or business studies.
• Several years of solid professional experience in financial accounting.
• Knowledge of current accounting regulations, knowledge in balance sheet preparation, and group experience is an advantage.
• You master DATEV and have good knowledge of common MS Office programs, especially very good Excel skills.
• Fluent German and good English skills.
• Open and communicative personality.
