Transparency and Regulatory Affairs Director - Remote

Overview

The Animal Legal Defense Fund’s mission is to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system. The Transparency and Regulatory Affairs Program (TRAP) Director will launch and direct a program to gather and analyze data regarding state and federally regulated entities impacting animals.

• Launch and direct the TRAP program for data collection and analysis.
• Develop strategies to utilize data for regulatory comments and petitions.
• Oversee the design and development of data gathering infrastructure.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate and active law license.
• 5-7 years of regulatory data collection experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in rule-making and litigation.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in designing data collection programs.
• Strong knowledge of legal avenues and cybersecurity.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Skilled in communications and collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
